Thermolyne FB1410M Furnace
Price: $450.00
Used FB1410M muffle heat treating furnace. Dimensions interior 6″ x 5″ x 4.5″. Dimensions exterior 15.8″ x 10″ x 14.5″ 230 VAC 60 hertz single phase. Operating temperature is 212 F to 1,800 F however I would limit the temp to 1,600 degrees F. The furnace would be fine for annealing brass cases or heat treating steels that have a lower hardening temp. The heating elements come as a flat ceramic sheet with the elements embedded in the sheet. The sheet is folded at the indicated places. The old elements come out the rear of the furnace, the new one is slipped in, and connected to the wiring. Much easier than fooling around with a loose coil of high temp wire. Operators manual included.
I would still be using this furnace but needed one that can operate at higher temps and no longer need this one. Photo is of a new unit.

Lightly used Walnut Hill-50 press. Used in the shop to test dies and reload dummy 50 BMG cartridges. No longer needed and marked down to make room for other things. Comes with a reloading adapter to use the RCBS screw-in shellholder. The shellholder is not included. Also has a 1.5″-12 to 7/8″-14 reducer bushing and a 1.5″-12 to 1 1/4″ -12 bushing. Can be used to swaged most bullets using RCE, LLC swaging dies. Some accessory tools may need special adapters due to the increased throat height of the press.
Bore Gages
The next items are bore gages and setting fixtures for them. There are four gages covering diameters from .495″ up to 6.0″. The gages are in like new condition and complete with all of the parts that came with them.
I got these when doing parts on the vertical mill and needed a way to measure holes very accurately and without human error. There is simply nothing that will compare to the Sunnen bore gages. These are available separately or a special price is available for the set. I now have the parts made by a CNC shop and no longer need the gages. The photos were taken outside and clouds are reflected in the gage bezel.

Sunnen Products Co. Dial bore gage. Measures from .495″ up to .750″ and up to 5″ deep. I’ve used this when making large caliber bullet swages but more when making parts on the vertical mill. A new gage from Sunnen is $1,165.00. There are similar gages made by other companies but none compare to the Sunnen products. Plus should it be needed replacement or repair parts and calibration are available from Sunnen. Comes with a case, setting micrometer, and tools. It is a serious tool for serious machinists & die makers.
